Obituary of Marie L. Cascio

Marie L. Cascio, age 72, of Geneseo/Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY with her daughter by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Cascio, parents Evelyn Rice Brown, and Russell Brown, siblings Joanne Cox and Everett Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Ron) Sank II of Perry, grandchildren, Zach Sank of Warsaw, Chelsey Sank of Perry, Ron (Lizzy) Sank III of Nunda, great grandchildren, Korra and Jackson Sank, sisters, Pat (Smitty) Smith of Leicester, Betty Jean (Niles) Vogt of Avon, brother, Ed (Kathy) Brown of Dansville, many nieces, nephews, and her precious kitty's, Patches and Tinker Bell.

Marie was born April 29, 1951 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Russell F. Brown and Evelyn Adeline Rice. She worked for the Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo until her retirement. Marie worked her way up, and retired as a supervisor.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Her Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11 AM, burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland.
