I just found out about Stephen’s passing. My heart goes out to his wife; Jessica, Stephen’s family, as well as hers. Hearing the news was a big shock, not only to myself, but to our mutual friend Samantha Graham-Jarvis. I considered Stephen a close friend, even if we didn’t see or hear from each other that often. I remember sitting and talking to him for hours about everything and anything. I also remember him coming over to the house to take part in a web show that my friend Sam and I had created. He was an amazing person and was one of the best friends I could have ever asked for. His passing will be one of the hardest moments to get over but I know his memory will live on in everyone who loved him and cared about him. Thank you, Stephen, for all that you did. You made a lasting impact on everyone around you!

When Stephen was a child he was an interesting child. We were told that all we could do for him is socialize him. When he came to Mississauga and he went into his grade four class, they assessed his reading they decided that this was where they needed to start. His teacher and assistant were amazing he was with the same teacher in the April of that school year, he was reading Captain Underpants, he was so engrossed in his reading that he missed his bus on more than one occasion. When Stephen put his mind to something he did it! I was always proud of him and realistic!
