Michael J. Buckley, age 74, of Geneseo, died Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Bauer Buckley, parents, Lawrence and Evelyn Buckley and his sister, Patricia Zermino.

He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Mary Ann) Buckley of Clarence, NY, several nieces, nephews and many in-laws.

Michael was born March 19, 1949 in Rochester, NY the son of Lawrence and Evelyn Sweet Buckley. He worked for Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo. Michael was often seen walking in the Village of Geneseo smoking his pipe and with his basket in tow.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be with his wife, Loretta at Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
