Obituary of Ronald W. Sank

Ronald W. Sank, age 83, of Leicester, died surrounded by his family, Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ida Sank, siblings, Joseph Sank, Charlotte Stufflebeam, John Sank, Carol Goodwill, Peggy Higley, Beverly Sank and Thomas Watson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ange Sank, children, Ronald (Tammy) Sank II, Chris (Lena) Sank, Justin (Olivia) Koschara, Alicia Koschara, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings, Leon (Sheila) Sank, Leland (Donna) Sank, Archie Higley Jr., Ida (Carl) Carlson, Isabelle Smith, Betsy Montgomery and Linda Wynn, many nieces and nephews and Ron's canine companion, Oreo.

Ron was born March 26, 1940 in Corry, PA the son of Joseph and Ida Prine Sank. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran during the Vietnam War. Ron was a Foreman in the Maintenance Department at the Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea, NY. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and trips to the casinos.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where his Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10 AM with Rev. Mary Martin officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Leicester Cemetery.
