Obituary of William P. Hollar, Sr.

William P. Hollar, Sr., age 79, of Geneseo, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his sisters, Betty, Pat, Carol and Leona.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joy, 3 sons, William (Vonda) Hollar Jr. of Conesus, Richard Hollar of Geneseo, Keith Hollar of Geneseo, granddaughter, Tessa (Ben Rowley) Hollar of Geneseo, sister, Barbara (Raymond) Bullis of Conesus, sister in law, Dale (Keith) Burroughs of Batavia, brother in law, Scott Cole of Rochester, several nieces and nephews.

Bill was born February 14, 1944 in Binghamton, NY the son of Robert P. and Bertha Rose Hollar. He retired from the Wegmans warehouse in Rochester as a Mechanic after 25 years. Bill then became a groundskeeper for Valley View Apartments in Geneseo for another 10 years. He was a diehard Buffalo Bills Fan.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
