Dolores R. Zabrocki, age 95, of Geneseo, died Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Hildabrant Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Zabrocki, daughter, Christine Bechtel, sister, Adeline Noon, brothers, Raymond and Theodore Franzek.

She is survived by her children, Diane (Jerome) Virzi of Churchville, Stephen (Donna) Zabrocki of Geneseo, Judy (Richard) Van Wagenen of Beacon, Carol (Joseph) Bouchard of Concord, NH, son in law, Mark Bechtel of CA, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Dolores was born October 27, 1927 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Theodore and Rose Fronckowiak Franzek. She attended Nardin Academy and earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree from D'Youville College. Dolores was a Chemical Librarian for Durez Chemical Company in Tonawanda. She was also the Town Clerk for Geneseo until her retirement.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Sylvester Bioh officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
