Obituary of Rose Mae Delabarto

Rose Mae Delabarto, age 92, of Geneseo, died peacefully Monday, May 22, 2023 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip "Murph" Delabarto Jr., son, Larry (Linda) Delabarto, grandchildren, Anthony, Danielle and Dominick, sisters, Madeline Frock, Belle Hallenbeck, brothers, Garfield and Cassius Squires.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Mulvaney of Honeoye, several nieces and nephews including, Rosie, Gloria and Ricky, many great nieces and nephews.

Mae was born November 3, 1930 in Cayuta, NY the daughter of Arthur and Olive Burlingame Squires. She was a second grade Teacher for Avon Elementary School until her retirement. Mae was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Rev. Hoan Dinh officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
