Obituary of Donald P. Miller

Donald Paul Miller - Conesus Lake, NY - December 1, 1955 - October 31, 2022 born in Hartford, CT. He was predeceased by parents, Trueman and Dorothy Miller II, niece, Sherry Miller, brother-in-law, Greg "Big" Smith and his beloved dog, Max.

He is survived by his loving wife Lynne McCurdy-Miller, daughter, Nicole (Dave Sholes) Miller, son, Clint (Nioca) Miller, their mother, Bernice Miller, grandchildren, Jade and Holdyn Freeman, Cam, Carter and Ava Miller, brothers, Trueman (Betty) Miller III, Ronald Miller, sister, Yvonne (Mark) Andersen, nieces, Wendy (Dana) Bastian, Lindsay Andersen, Ashley Andersen, nephew, Jarod, extended family, Ash (Jessica) Jackson, Caitlin (fiancé Nate Schapp) Moseley, Makayla and Keira Jackson, sisters-in-law, Laurel McCurdy, Leslie McCurdy and pup Kaya, many lifelong friends and co- workers.

Don aka "Donny", "Milly" grew up in Avon, CT one of four siblings, he graduated with a scholarship to play soccer at Eastern Connecticut State. He found his passion working for his older brother Trueman as a carpenter. Don worked all over the east coast from Massachusetts to Texas but ended up raising a family in NY. Milly was well known throughout Western NY and the capital district with over 30 years in locals 85 and 276. Donny was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Don will be missed by many.

A special thank you to the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Memory Lane, for their amazing care of Don.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 2-5 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo, where his Memorial Service will follow at 5 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Begin Again Horse Rescue, 2828 Plank Rd, Lima, NY 14485.
