Obituary of Patricia H. Bark

Patricia H. Bark aged 89 years, died Friday August 26, 2022 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Richard Bark.

Patricia was born March 18, 1933 in Greigsville, NY the daughter of the late Edward and Isabelle (Mulvey) Curran. She was a graduate of Daeman College in Buffalo, NY where she received her Bachelor's Degree. While attending college she worked for the Buffalo News. Upon graduating Patricia went to Washington D.C to work at the Pentagon before transferring to the CIA. After marrying Richard, they lived in many places in the United States and England before returning to Geneseo. Patricia retired from Key Bank in the 1990's.

She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She crocheted many lap blankets each year for her loved ones, as well as, military service veterans at the VA. Patricia was a strong person of Faith, which was very important to her all of her life. She was a Communicant of St. Luke The Evangelist Parish at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

She is survived by her children; William (Betty) Bark of Warsaw, Mary Ellen Bark of W. Henrietta, Caroline Haley of W. Henrietta, Christine Bark of Elmira, Edward Bark of Chicago and Conan (Denna) Bark of Geneseo. Grandchildren; Stacey (Jeff) Chien, Rachel (Bill) Seymour, Daniel Haley, Patrick (Sarah) Bark, Aiden and Gabriel Bark. Great grandchildren; Joseph Seymour, Parker, Evelyn and Callen Chien, her sister; Sheila Van Briesen, sisters in law; Sheila (Steve) Goddard and Carol Bark, and several nephews.

Friend's may call at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main Street in Geneseo, on Monday August 29, 2022 from 4-7 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneseo, NY.
