I have only recently learned of Letitia's passing and feel very badly I could not attend her calling hours. She was a very kind and delightful person to know and work for. She loved her dog and took excellent care of her. I would like to extend my deepest and most sincere condolences to her family.
Most sincerely,

Jim and family,
We just learned of Letitia's passing today and wanted to extend our heartfelt sympathies to you. We were able to watch her funeral Mass at St. Mary's which was beautiful. Letitia was everything that was spoken about her, and more. When we moved into Geneseo, we weren't there more than a couple weeks when she reached out to me to ask me to become a mediator, and eventually to take the position of C&V Case Manager. I will always be grateful to her for seeing in me what I couldn't see in myself. But that is who she was - always seeing the best in others. May she rest in the peace of Christ from a job well done.
Dot and Ed Spicka

What an amazing woman. I am filled with gratitude to Letitia for her absolute, unselfish commitment to Livingston County's office of the Center for Dispute Settlement. Thank you to her family for sharing her with the community. Letitia brought so many people, of varied cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities together with the annual pot-luck dinners, holiday and volunteer appreciation events. Letitia made Livingston County - CDS, a gem in the crown of New York State's ADR community. It is my sincere hope that her memory will be honored and kept alive at the Center for Dispute Settlement's Livingston County Office.

Letitia was very dedicated and always had a smile for those of us in this field. I admired her even though I'm in the 'next' county. When she or one of her staff would call me to take a case I knew it was going to be interesting. Even when a Lemon Law was to be in the Livingston county office I knew I'd be welcomed. Thank You Letitia!
Sincerely
Jack Kellogg

I was so very sad and sorry to hear of Letitia s passing. She was an amazing friend and supporter of mine while I was employed for 13 years as the Livingston County Youth Advocate. She was a wonderful woman who seemed to exude light and love. There are those we meet in our lives who leave and indelible impact on us.....Letitia was such a person. Please know we are holding you all in our hearts and prayers. With much appreciation for a life well lived!

Very saddened to hear about my great mate, Letitia's passing. Colleagues since 2001, we began working in the same office (CDS in Geneseo) in 2013 when she kindly took me in at a time when my former work location became unavailable. She was of course extremely kind and had a great sense of humour. She was a great mentor to me and I enjoyed listening to her sing and recite poetry, talking with her about a great variety of subjects and celebrating birthdays and holidays in the office together with Taimer, Diana and many others. As everyone knows, she was extremely dedicated to her clients and was very, very proud of the service that her office provided to residents of the county. She was a highly developed thinker with an eye for detail but she also loved a good yarn. She was especially proud of all the wonderful volunteers that she worked with and she quietly modelled the very essence of what it truly means to be a Christian. It was a great pleasure to work with Letitia so closely for so long. I will never forget her for as long as I live and I will always think of her whenever I have a pint of Guinness. Ta ta, mate!!

My deepest condolences to Jim, James, their grandchildren, relatives, friends and acquaintances of Letitia. For the past six years, I have had the opportunity to work alongside Letitia at CDS, absorbing as much knowledge and wisdom as I could. I remember her singing Ed McCurdy songs from her office and telling me stories about her childhood while drinking Lipton tea, always black. She was so proud to be a mother and grandmother and had pictures all over her office of her loved ones. She taught me not only about mediation, but life and love and how to stay quiet long enough so others will start talking!! I am grateful to have known you for the short time I did. You will be missed.

I'm saddened to hear of Letitia's passing. I have known Letitia for 20 as a colleague through the Center for Dispute Settlement. I always enjoyed talking with her and listening to her wisdom of the ADR process and community. I always made a point of attending her Pot Luck dinners every fall, lots of fun and learning.
I cherish a beautiful cookbook she sent me after I was married and I make several recipes from the cookbook. May you be in peace Letitia. My thoughts to her family.

I first want to say that it will be difficult to express the respect and admiration that I have for Letitia in a short paragraph (or mini novel for that matter). Letitia is one of the most compassionate and caring people I've ever known. As Director of the Livingston County CDS, she was a superb mentor. She was patient and supportive while still holding mediators to the high standards she held for the ADR process. I've known Letitia for over 30 years in my capacity as a volunteer mediator.
However, it is as a friend and confidant that I will miss her most. She went out of her way to get to know my family and involve them in any recognition I may have received. She honored the passing of my parents by giving me flowering shrubs upon their passing. She gave me several items that she bought for her twin granddaughters when I became the grandfather of twin girls. These are just a few examples of her forethought and generosity that would fill up that mini novel. I suspect my fellow mediators and many other of Letitia's acquittances would have similar experiences and stories.
My condolences to Jim, James, the grandchildren and the rest of Letitia's friends and family. We've lost one of a kind.
