Obituary of Miles F. Bintz

Miles F. Bintz, age 84, of Geneseo, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette M. Hebert Bintz.

He is survived by his children, Theresa (Thomas) Fox of Hopewell Junction, NY, Mark (Kim) Bintz of Panama City, FL, Matthew (Diane) Bintz of West Hartford, CT, Catherine (John) Bennett of Geneseo, NY, Miles (Jana) Bintz of Cedar Park, TX, 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Mary Agatha Guzior of Schenectady, NY, several nieces and nephews.

Miles was born November 7, 1937 in Schenectady, NY the son of Miles M. and Mary Louise Bogenschutz Bintz. He was a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He was an Engineer for General Electric in Schenectady for 25 years and retired from Dresser Rand in Olean, NY.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 25 from 4-7 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home, 730 Union St. in Schenectady. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Katari Church, 1803 Union St. in Schenectady. Burial with Military Honors will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, NY.
