Obituary of Anne E. Noga

Anne E. Noga, 82, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, formerly of Auburn, died surrounded by her family on Friday, January 17, 2014. Anne was born in Auburn, NY, on November 20, 1931 to William and Marion Chase Kinsella. She graduated from St. Mary's and East High School in Auburn. Anne married her high school sweetheart, John F. Noga, in 1951. They travelled the US while John served in the US Army resettling in Auburn, where they raised their five children. Anne enjoyed visiting with friends, bingo and travelling around the state antiquing. Anne and John took great pleasure in hosting family get togethers, neighborhood parties and camping vacations. Anne, "Grammie," took great pleasure in doting on her 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her dear neighbors, Amy and Tim Casella, who nicknamed her "Anniekins." Her grandchildren remember her for her constant smile, willingness to play lots of games and her young-at-heart spirit. For the last three years Anne happily resided at Morgan Estates in Geneseo, where she loved the staff and fellow residents. Anne was loved by many and will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John; two sons, Gerry Noga and Douglas Noga; and sister, Joan LoPiccolo. Anne is survived by her devoted family: daughters Carol (Thomas) Dillon of Geneseo and Jamie Noga of Canandaigua; son, Jeff Noga of Burlingame, Calif.; grandchildren Dan (Andrea) Zuniga, Amanda (Bradley) Baskett, Nicole (Benjamin) Glass and Andrew (Jennel) Dillon; great-grandchildren Lauren, Joshua and Isaac Glass, Aidan, Kegan and Addison Dillon, Sophia Zuniga, and Ethan Baskett; sister-in-law Stella DuPree; brother-in-law Anthony Coco; special niece, Karen (Ray) Brown; several additional nieces and nephews; lifelong friend Don Pierce and many more beloved friends. Memorial Services will be private. Donations in Anne's memory may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo.
