Obituary of Laurie J. Peete

Laurie J. Peete, age 62, of York, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at her residence. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Violet Copeland, brothers, Steven and Dennis "Fig" Copeland.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Peete, daughters, Megan Peete, Amber Torregrossa, grandson, Kadin Peete, sister, Sandra Copeland, sister in law, Lynn Copeland all of York, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.

Laurie was born December 21, 1959 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Joseph and Violet Turner Copeland. She was a graduate of York Central School, class of 1978. After graduation from York, Laurie worked at Chloride UP Systems in Caledonia for several years. She then began her career in health care as a home health aide for Lifetime Care in Rochester.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery.
