Obituary of Betty J. Rumfola

Betty J. Rumfola, age 94, of Geneseo, formerly of Avon, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia. She was a resident at Morgan Estates in Geneseo before entering the Conesus Lake Nursing Home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony "Rip" Rumfola in 2003 and her brother, Al Hyde.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Maureen Root) Rumfola of Geneseo, granddaughter, Kellie (Jamie) Nevin, great granddaughters, Riley and Natalie Nevin all of Avon, several nieces and nephews.

Betty was born July 15, 1927 in Batavia, NY the daughter of Arland and Esther Johnson Hyde. She worked and retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester after many dedicated years. Betty was a longtime member of St. Agnes Church in Avon.

Due to COVID-19 there will be no calling hours. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Avon.
