Obituary of Alice Mae McCauley
Alice Mae McCauley, age 83, of San Marcos, TX, formerly of Groveland, died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. She was predeceased by her husbands, James Roth and Ted McCauley, siblings, Carl Smith, Dorothy Miller, Helen German, Glenn Smith, Roy Smith and Fred Woodard.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher (Heather) Roth of Henrietta, Darryl (Vicki) Roth of TX, step son, Michael (Shirley) McCauley of Springwater, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers, Fred (Karryl) Smith of Elba, sisters, Millie Smith of CA, Betty Crabb of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews.
Mae was born August 18, 1938 in Pavilion, NY the daughter of Louis and Lula Hardy Smith. She retired from the Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo. She was a longtime member of the Groveland Federated Parish.
No prior calling hours. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 10 AM at the Groveland Federated Parish with Dorothy Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland.
