Obituary of William G. Maher

William G. Maher, age 70, of Caledonia, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Marilyn Maher, sister, Marilyn Luke, brothers, Donald and Douglas Maher.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Weis Maher, children, Rick (Angela Holland) Emerson of Leicester, Dan (Stacy) Emerson of York, Melissa (Paul Montoya Sr.) Emerson of AZ, Heidi (Larry McClain) Wallace of Caledonia, 20 grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Allyson, Sydnee, Meredith, Aiden, Lily, Zachery, Maxwell, Abigale, Peyton, Kate, Nathaniel, Jacob, Paul Jr., Devin, Dylan and Kaileigh, 4 great grandchildren, Everleigh, Chloe, Jackson and Elias, sister, Diana Bowers of TX, brother in law, Daniel Luke of Scottsville, many nieces and nephews.

William was born September 15, 1951 in Rochester, NY the son of Leo and Marilyn McMahon Maher. He retired from Advance Auto Parts in Geneseo after many dedicated years.

William's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
