Obituary of Joseph T. Meyer

Joseph T. Meyer, age 80, of Lakeville, died Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence at Turtle Rock IRA. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert "Bob" Meyer.

He is survived by his sister, Hazel Mayer of West Chester, OH, sister in law, Joanne Meyer of North Babylon, NY, aunt, Anna DeMarz of Hicksville, NY, nieces and nephews, Sharyn (Matt) Cones of Loveland, OH, Jennifer (Warren) Yeisley of Asheville, NC, Tony Mayer of Cincinnati, OH, Stephanie (Nicky) DiVisconti of East Islip, NY, Robert (Trisha) Meyer of Centereach, NY, many great nieces and nephews.

Joseph was born May 5, 1941 in the Bronx, NY the son of Joseph A. and Louise Thorn Meyer. He was a longtime employee and retired from Hilltop Industries in Mt. Morris.

Friends may call Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St., in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow. Funeral Services will also be held at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home in Westbury, NY. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
