Obituary of Donald E. Shaver Jr.

Donald E. "Donnie" Shaver, Jr., age 54, of Big Tree Rd. in Lakeville, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was predeceased by his father, Don Sr., son, Danny, daughter, Tasha, nephews, Billy Smith Jr. and Jeremy Hawkins, grandparents, Jay (Ada) Demun and Martin (Ruth) Shaver, brother in law, Bill Loudin, several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his son, Leon "Lee" Shaver of Bloomfield, grandchildren, Nathan and Kylee, mother, Rita Shaver, of Geneseo, brother, Jay, (BB) Shaver of Mt. Morris, sisters, Janet Loudin of FL, Donna (Jeff) Marsh of Livonia, Valerie (Burton "Charlie") Provorse of Dansville, Heidi (Dave) Cauvel Sr. of PA, Jenny (Bill) Smith Sr. of Mt. Morris, fiancé, Cheryl Rochester of Lakeville, several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Donnie was born August 16, 1959 in Dansville, NY the son of Donald and Rita Demund Shaver Sr. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held following visitation at 1PM with Pastor Jeri Kober officiating.
