Obituary of Judith Gray

Judith Olmstead Gray, age 67, of Federal Rd. in York, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and June Olmstead and brother, Billy Olmstead. She is survived by her husband, Cecil, sons, John (Freya) Gray of Mooresville, NC, Michael (Michelle) Gray of Richmond, VA, Brian (Abigail) Gray of Thornwood, NY, daughter, Kimberly (Kevin) House of Amelia, VA, grandchildren, Skylar, Devin, Caden, Lachlan, Crawford and Katrina Gray, Regan, Aidan and Delaney House, sister, Patricia (Marshall) Hilsburg of Palm Beach Garden, FL, brothers, Robert (Steve) Olmstead of Montoursville, PA, Edward Olmstead of North Myrtle Beach, SC, many nieces and nephews. Judy was born July 6, 1946 in Auburn, NY the daughter of Claude Edward and Helen June Terpening Olmstead. She earned her Associates Degree from SUNY Morrisville in Business Administration. Judy was a daycare provider to many children throughout the years at her home in Linwood. She was an active member of the York United Presbyterian Church and their Vacation Bible School Program. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November, 6, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10 AM at the York United Presbyterian Church, 2662 Main St., in York, with Pastor Michelle Sumption officiating.
