Obituary of Philip Buchiero

Philip Buchiero, age 83, of South St. in Leicester, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 29, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmelo and Concetta Arena Buchiero, sisters, Josephine Ingrassia, Phyllis DiLullo and Louise Berretta. He is survived by his wife, Ella, children, Barbara (Dick) Moriarty of Churchville, Phil (Sarah) Buchiero Jr. of Rochester, Diane Buchiero of Churchville, Denise (Tim) Parmenter of Pavilion, Deborah (Victor) Gomez of Rochester, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Phil was born August 29, 1932 in Rochester, NY the son of Carmelo and Concetta Arena Buchiero. He was a Graduate of East High School. Phil was a US Air Force Veteran. He retired from General Railway Signal/Alstom in Rochester. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Geneseo and Woodlyn Hills Golf Course in Nunda. Friends may call Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Geneseo with Pastor John Zatkiewicz officiating. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery.
