Obituary of John N. LaGeorge

John N. “Toat” LaGeorge, age 63, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas “Paco” LaGeorge in 2011. He is survived by his wife, Linda Montemarano LaGeorge, daughters, Aprile (Len) Mack of Geneseo, Rachel LaGeorge of Geneseo, grandsons “Papa’s Boys”, Lenny Mack, Gary Converse III, Dakota John Converse, sisters, Antoinette (John) Dobrowsky of Brockport, Marie LaGeorge of Greece, father in law, Joseph Montemarano of Leicester, sisters in law, Tina LaGeorge of Rochester, Lauraine Montemarano of Leicester, brother in law, Joseph (Kathy) Montemarano of Leicester, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Tricia and Erica. Toat was born October 5, 1952 in Rochester, NY the son of Anthony Ross and Bessie Morello LaGeorge. He was a Custodial Engineer at SUNY Geneseo for 34 years until his retirement in 2007. Toat was a former member of the Geneseo Fire Department. He was employed by the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo for over 30 years and was employed the past 2 years by the Village of Geneseo at their offices on Main Street in a custodial capacity. Toat was well known at “numerous” coffee clubs in Geneseo. Friends may call Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
