Obituary of Nunzio J. Bonefede

Nunzio J. Bonefede, age 73, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY after a short illness.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Gambino of Geneseo, father Nunzio "Newt" Bonefede of Silver Lake, son, Michael (Bobbi Jo) Bonefede of Leicester, grandchildren, Alexis, Parker, Lily and Sophia Bonefede, sister, Patricia (Donald) Johnson of Scotia, NY, maternal aunt, Mary Montemarano of San Diego, CA, several cousins, a niece and nephew.

Nunzio was born September 15, 1950 in Warsaw, NY son of Nunzio E. Bonefede and Virginia Badami Gambino. He was a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. Nunzio was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 435 in Rochester, NY.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
