Obituary of Daniel W. Haley

Daniel W. Haley, age 36, of Geneseo, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Kevin Haley, paternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Haley, maternal grandparents, Richard "Dick" and Patricia Bark.

He is survived by his mother Caroline Bark Haley, sister, Stacey (Jeff) Haley Chien of Geneseo, niece, Evelyn, nephews, Parker and Callen, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Dan was born June 23, 1987 in Dansville, NY the son of Kevin V. Haley and Caroline Bark Haley. He was a Graduate of Geneseo Central School class of 2005. After graduation he went on to work for Team Cheer / Athletica. Dan was a former member of the Geneseo Fire Department and the Ambulance. He enjoyed camping, animals and most of all his family. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Rev. Hoan Dinh officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
