Obituary of Josephine Rose Savino

Josephine Rose Savino, age 94, of Geneseo, died Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Savino Sr. and her brother, Louis (Joan) Christiano Jr.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Angela) Savino Jr. of Geneseo, Donna (James) Galbraith of Wadsworth, Sueanne (Lynn Powers) Savino of Piffard, grandchildren, Nicole Galbraith of Spencerport, Peter (Morgan) Savino of Geneseo, great grandchildren, Camdan and Lilly Savino, sister, Rosemary Giordano of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews.

Josephine was born November 16, 1929 in York, NY the daughter of Louis and Jennie Pullano Christiano Sr. She retired after 32 years from the Food Service Department at the Craig Development Center in Sonyea. Josephine's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10-11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where her Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11 AM with Father Sylvester Bioh officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
