Obituary of Arnold K. Dueppengiesser

Arnold K. Dueppengiesser, age 87, of Perry, died Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharyon Smeal Blake Dueppengiesser, 9 children, Arnold Dueppengiesser Jr. of Conesus Lake, Marianne (Michael) Morgan of Leicester, John (Abbie) Dueppengiesser of Perry, Caroline (Robert) Luna of Perry, Peter (Roxanne) Dueppengiesser of Wisconsin, James (Monica) Dueppengiesser of Perry, Dawn Blake of Hawaii, Michael (Wendy) Dueppengiesser of Perry, Craig Blake of Penfield, 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.

Arnold was born July 27, 1936 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany the son of Fredrich and Elisabeth Kroll Dueppengiesser. He owned and operated Ransom Rail Dairy Farm in Perry for many years. Arnie was a past president of the NY Holstein Association, President and CEO of the Conesus Milk Producers, served on the Board of Directors for Dairylea Cooperative, NY Dairy Marketing Services, Dairy Management Inc., and a member and consultant for Dairy Farmers of America. Arnie was a member of St. Luke's the Evangelist Parish where he served on many committees including the Parish Council. He was a long time Rotarian in Perry. Papa supported all his grandkids, attending sporting events, school concerts, cattle shows and more.

His home was the favorite gathering place to celebrate all the family events. Tranquil Reflections was a labor of love for Arnold and Sharyon. Open to all, in encompasses 10 acres at their home, created as a place for peaceful reflection.

No prior calling hours. Arnie's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo. A Celebration of his life will be held at Tranquil Reflections in July 2, 2024 with a time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Rotary Club of Perry, PO Box 103, Perry, NY 14530.
