Obituary of Thomas A. Dulmage Sr.

Thomas A. Dulmage Sr. of Henrietta, New York, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn and siblings, Louis, Delores Gammon, Jerry, June Price, Betty Selkis, Paul, Judson, Mary Escudero, Jeanine Dulmage, Jack and Bill. Thomas is survived by his sons, Thomas (Marissa Privitere) Dulmage Jr. of Penfield and Peter (Jane) Dulmage of Geneseo, his grandchildren, Jared (Amy Nishioka) Dulmage, Bryan Dulmage, Benjamin Dulmage, Meghan (Justin) Curley, Madison (Keith Mikoleit) Dulmage, step-granddaughter, Isabella Privitere-Coats, his great-grandchildren, Hannah Dulmage, Jonah Dulmage and Owen Curley, many nieces, nephews and his lifelong friend, Kenny Baker of Watertown. Thomas was born March 16, 1927 in Watertown, NY. He was one of 12 children of Erwin and Florence Anthony Dulmage growing up during the Great Depression. He lettered in football, basketball, and baseball at Watertown High School before joining the Navy at age 17 as a Signalman on the U.S.S. Vincennes during WWII. After his service to his country, he married Marilyn Paquette and graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in Business Administration. His exceptional talent on his college baseball team resulted in a contract with the New York Giants Organization. At the conclusion of his baseball career, Tom worked for the General Electric Company for the next 35 years. He moved his family to Henrietta, NY in 1960 and after retiring from General Electric he became a partner and CEO of Caltronix Inc. and an Associate Professor of Business Marketing at Monroe Community College. Tom was a division one basketball referee and a member of the College Basketball Officials Association Board 60 where he served a stint as president. In his leisure time Tom was an avid golfer and longtime member of Thunder Ridge Country Club currently known as the Wild Wood Country Club. Tom retired to Spring Hill Florida in the year 2000 and lived in the Wellington Community with his companion Audrey Corley where he played golf, travelled, and made many good friends. All family and friends are welcome to join us on February 29, 2020 for a short Memorial Service at 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life until 3 PM at Wild Wood Country Club, 1201 Rush West Rush Road, Rush, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, NE 68010.
