Cecilia Ann Scutt, age 80, of York, died Friday, July 31, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Lester Scutt Jr., son, Mark (Angela) Rockwell, step children, Holly Scutt and Victoria King, grandchildren, Julia and Jacob Rockwell, Emily and Matthew King, Beener (Tsyana) Rockwell, Amber Rockwell, great grandson, Sterling Rockwell, siblings, Gloria Naylor, Lois Hall, Theresa Gray, Janet Congdon, John Zakryk, Al Brenchley, Roy Miles, Pete Brenchley, and many nieces and nephews.

Ceil was born January 24, 1946 in Susquehanna, PA, the daughter of Matthew Zakryk and Ann Zakryk. She served as a home health aide for the bulk of her career, retiring at age 75. Ceil was a member of the Lakeville United Church of Christ, where she served as custodian for several years, before attending York United Presbyterian Church for the past few years. She loved carnations, roses, owls, walking in Letchworth Park, and watching the birds and wildlife in her backyard. She was a strong woman of faith and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
