Dennis Linsner age 74 of Groveland was lovingly surrounded when he passed on July 6, 2026. Denny is survived by his wife Barbara Davis. He leaves his children, Selena (John) Collins, Katrina (RJ Harvey) Stewart, and Rob (Selena) Linsner. He also leaves stepchildren, Jeffrey (Heidi) Davis, Shana (Rob) Feissner, and Rachael Davis. Denny leaves one brother, six sisters, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and dozens of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Dorothy Kornbau Linsner.

Denny was a lifelong farmer, welder, and mechanic. His unparalleled mechanical aptitude earned him the affectionate title of "mechanical genius" among all who witnessed his ability to fix, build, and innovate with remarkable skill. Additionally, he was employed by G & W Railroad for many years. He was a decorated marksman, an accomplished hiker, an Adirondack 46er, and an avid skier. He was a life member of the Groveland Fire Department.

Friends may call at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday July 24th from 4-6 pm where Funeral Services will be held at 6 PM. A Reception will follow at 6311 Logan Rd. in Groveland.
