Donna Marie Ellis, age 83, of York, passed away surrounded by family Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Dancy and sister, Marilyn "Puddie" McCracken.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, children, Seana (Rob) Ellis of Mt Morris, Darlene (Steve) Ferraro of Mt. Morris, Richard (Penny) Ellis of York, Jay Wolfanger of Geneseo, grandchildren, Brooke, Colin (Katie), Kyle, Brad, Lauren (Max), Lindsey (Colin), Rachel and Nicole (Jordan), 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Donna was born August 19, 1942 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Arthur and Matilda Trude McCaughey. She was a Graduate of Rochester Business Institute and retired after 28 years from AKZO Nobel Salt Mine in Retsof as Office Administrator.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
