Richard E. "Dick" Dutton, age 87, of York, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 while residing at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Cherry Glover Dutton in 2021.

Dick is survived by a son, Lance Dutton, daughter-in-law, Barbara Dutton, grandchildren, Kristen (Robert) Connolly, Jordan (Rachel) O'Grady, Brandi Shaver, Robert (Holly Murray) Duryee, Katie Duryee, Lance (Lyndsay) Dutton II, great grandchildren, Maddi, John, Tucker, Sydney, Meredith, Cara, Tiante, Ryleigh, Gabrielle, Levi, Link Richard, Ledger and many nieces and nephews.

Dick was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Lloyd Thomas (DD-764) Destroyer. He was an accomplished woodworker making many beautiful pieces for family and friends to cherish. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, a good laugh and most of all, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his spouse, Dick was predeceased by a daughter, Krystal Dutton, parents, Donald and Martha Dutton, mother and father-in-law, Floyd and Marie Glover, brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Joyce Merle, William and Virginia Boyd.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment with Military Honors will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
