Barbara L. Richardson, age 94, of Retsof, died Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husbands, William Jarvis and David Richardson, sons, Ernie, Tom and David Jarvis, grandson, Derrick Sibley, sisters, Jean, Leona, Edith and Betty.

She is survived by her 6 grandchildren, Brian (Jessica) Jarvis, Tricia (Mike) Davis, Michelle Froble, Jason Jarvis, Nathan Jarvis and Heather Jarvis, 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Mary Guinta and Dorothy Post, several nieces and nephews.

Barb was born December 11, 1931 in Cayuga, NY the daughter of James and Ruth Kimball Post. After her first husband passed away, she married David E. Richardson and helped run the office for their Excavating Business in Retsof. Barb enjoyed riding horses, her many dogs throughout the years, reading the bible and spending time with family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland with Pastor Kirk Adams officiating.
