Lawrence William Palma, age 90, of Geneseo formerly of Mt. Morris, died Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He was predeceased by his father, William Palma, mother, Rose Novick, brothers, Jaccob and Carman Palma.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Johann Mulley Palma, children, Billy (Joyce) Palma of Denver, NC, Tammy (Donnie) Gullo of Geneseo, grandchildren, Justin (Amy) LaGeorge, Matthew (Brittni) LaGeorge, Amy (Matt) Orlando, Kevin (Aimee) Gullo and Kristy McLaughlin, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was born December 30, 1935 in Mt. Morris, NY the son of William and Rose Gimmereci Palma. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Lawrence worked at Sonyea as a cook and retired after 17 years at Attica Correctional Facility as a cook. In his spare time, he enjoyed many rounds of golf with his buddies at Sonyea Golf Course.

No prior calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris with Father Daniel White officiating.
