Theodore Alexander Fouros, age 80, of Geneseo, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Eagles Fouros, sister, Panagioea Arvanis, God son, Gregory Xantos of FL, many nieces, nephews and cousins, including, Ann (Dennis) Dawson, Elizabeth (Nathan) Vander Wal and family.

Alexis was born January 23, 1946 in Lefkas, Greece the son of Jacob and Amelia Fouros. He served in the Greek Navy earning the rank of Lt. Commander where he also played on their National Soccer Team. After emigrating to the United States, Alexis owned and operated many restaurants in Manhattan and Long Island. Alexis and Betsy also catered many events in the Wilmington, NC area and sold his Greek dishes at local farmer stands.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo with Father Michael Laver officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael's Memorial Garden.
