Tyler J. Grant Obituary

Tyler J. Grant, age 43, of Pavilion, died suddenly, Thursday, February 19, 2026 at his home. He was predeceased by his mother Karen Grant.


He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Hanchette Grant, his children, Paden, Brody, Isabella, Brooklyn and Beau Grant, his father, Clifford Grant of Piffard, brother Aaron (Catherine) Grant of Caledonia, mother-in-law Kim Hanchette of Mt. Morris, father-in-law, Michael (Pam) Hanchette of Geneseo, brother-in-law, Jason Hanchette of Perry, nephew Ethan Grant, special family, Jay and Lindsay Ezard, nephew, Liam and niece, Madison Ezard.


Tyler was born April 3, 1982 in Rochester, NY the son of Clifford and Karen Weckerle Grant. He was employed by Fineline Pipeline in Livonia, NY. Tyler was an amazing father, loving husband, loyal friend, and a hard-working employee. He loved hunting, the outdoors, his family, and his friends. His smile and energy lit up every room he walked into, and he was always willing to lend a hand both at home and in his community. The loss of him in all of our lives is truly devastating, and he will be forever missed.


Friends may call Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be Private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe for Tyler's family here.
