Kristine E. Burdick, age 42, of Geneseo, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her residence.

She was predeceased by her infant son, Hunter Burdick; stepfather, Donald Muscarella; paternal grandparents, Richard and Nancy Hughes; and maternal grandparents, Wesley and Charlotte Woodruff.

She is survived by her children, Alyssa Martin, Sophia Burdick, and Gryphon Burdick, and their father, David Burdick; her father, Tim (Norma) Hughes of Perry; her mother, Cindy Muscarella of Geneseo; and her siblings, Mike (Maria) Hartman of Denver, CO, Tim Hartman of Greenwood, SC, Amanda (Mike) Hamler children (McKenna, Landon and Mae) of Piffard, Ashley (Sam) Repass, children (Sammy and Ace) of Geneseo, and Tylor (Laurie) Muscarella of Buffalo. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kristine was born April 15, 1983, in Warsaw, NY, the daughter of Timothy Hughes and Cindy Woodruff Muscarella. She was a 2001 graduate of Perry Central School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY, in 2017. Her education led to a meaningful career in the Human Services field, where she served for several years at Arc GLOW, Heritage Christian, Oak Orchard Health Center, University of Rochester, and Person-Centered Services. This field was a true passion of hers, and through it, she established many long-lasting friendships.

Kristine was known for her love of music and cooking and was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Despite her own recurring health struggles, she remained a constant motivator for others; she used her self-taught knowledge of nutrition, health, and fitness to inspire those around her. Above all, she was a dedicated mother and was extremely proud of all her children's accomplishments.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo, where funeral services will follow visitation at 12:00 PM with Rev. Eric Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
