Barry A. Zack, age 73, of Geneseo, died Monday, January 12, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda (Keppler) Zack, children, Robin Zack (Kevin Lindsay) of Canandaigua, Richard (Yelena) Zack of Mohegan Lake, NY, 4 grandchildren, Julia, Anna, Daniel and Constantine, sisters, Sandra (Stuart) Litwin of TX, Lauren Zack of CA, and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Barry was born July 2, 1952 in Boston, MA, the son of Henry and Glenna (Slater) Zack. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and his Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Barry's professional interests were in AI as early as the 1970's. He worked extensively as a Consultant working with international firms, and later retired as President of Pantek, Inc. He had an extensive stamp and coin collection that peers envied, and a love of science fiction. He was known for his deep love and support for his family.

A Celebration of Barry's Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 2 – 4 PM at the Family Residence, 3909 Avon-Geneseo Rd. in Geneseo.
