Virginia M. "Ginny" Boyd, age 89, of Piffard, died Monday, November 24, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William Boyd Sr., daughter-in-law, Teresa Boyd, parents, Floyd and Anna Marie Glover and her sister, Cherry Dutton.

She is survived by her children, Vicki (Rodney) Lown of Geneseo, William Boyd Jr. of FL, LuAnn (Dennis) Hartnett of Geneseo, Vanessa Boyd, William (Felix) Boyd III, Alecia Glenn, Abigail (Dan) Long, Max (Debbie) Hartnett, great granddaughter, Lucille Long, sister, Joyce Merle of Mt. Morris, brother-in-law, Richard "Dick" Dutton of York, many nieces and nephews.

Virginia was born October 28, 1936 in York, NY the daughter of Floyd and Anna Marie Sager Glover. She was a seamstress at Champion Products in Geneseo and retired from their Perry location. Ginny loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed baking especially cookies and bread. Ginny was always watching sports on TV especially the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees and College Basketball.

No prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
