June E. Simms, age 97, of Geneseo, died Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Simms, parents, Thomas and Beatrice Robinson, in-laws, Francis (Jean) Simms, Gladys Simms, Evelyn Simms, and Dorothy Rubin.

She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Simms Jones Zimmerman of Lake Worth, FL, Penny (Chris) German of Geneseo, Patty Simms of Mendon and Polly Simms of Geneseo, nephew, Richard Rubin, grandchildren, Brooke (Greg) Nasso, Ashley (Natalie) Hamilton, Corey (Andrew) Hamilton, Meah Tubiolo, CJ and Lindsay German, great grandchildren, Eliza, Emma, Isaiah, Izzy, Ingrid and Ella Parks, Wyatt and Everly Hamilton, Winter German and Bison Hamilton.

June was born December 17, 1927 in The Plains, VA and moved to Geneseo with her parents, Thomas and Beatrice Robinson. June owned and operated her own salon, June's Beauty Shoppe in Geneseo for over 70 years retiring at age 90. She was also longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2024 from 1-4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo with Father Daniel White officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
