I had Mrs. Isgro for second grade. She told us that apple pie was her absolute favorite. I, being a fledgling baker, decided that I was going to make her favorite pie for her. I still love baking to this day. She even came to high school graduation just to congratulate her former students and let us know how proud of us she was. She was an absolutely amazing teacher.
