Beth Anne Harris of Geneseo, N.Y. passed away on October 2nd, 2025. Daughter of Robert L. Pinckney. Predeceased by mother Patricia Jean Quigley Pinckney, and her loving husband Stirlin Harris. Sister to Shannon B. (Pinckney) Chanler. Mother of Sean Q. Harris (Terumi Harris). Step mother of Ned Harris (Stephanie Harris), Kate Harris Coe (Nathan Coe). Grandchildren, Yukino Terada (Ryuta Terada), Shiori Miura.

Nieces and nephews, Melissa Hughes (Joshua Hughes), Trisha Mock (David Rogers), Aaron Mock (Katrina Hartwig). Sister-in-laws Majorie Harris, Suzanne Harris, Marie Burk (Trey Burk), Jacqueline Edwards, Christine Harris (Bob Charest).

Born in Rochester, N.Y., she spent much of her childhood in Danville, California and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Beth had a great love for family, community, and animals. She was one to show up whenever there was a need, without hesitation.

Initially trained as a veterinary technician, she then applied her skills at the neurobiology lab at the University of Rochester, studying how songbirds learn their songs. She later became a paramedic and first responder in Livingston County, serving for close to 20 years. With her experience, she came to the rescue of animals and people alike.

Beth approached life with a sense of adventure from an early age. She was a true competitor, rated 3rd in the Northeast in slalom water ski racing. With her equine partners, she competed in three day eventing, and rode with her husband, Stirlin, in the Genesee Valley fox hunt. Hideaway Farm and the Connemaras were her joy, raising foals and managing the memorable stallion, Erin Go Bragh.

She dearly loved her husband, Stirlin and son, Sean.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Daniel White officiating.
