Ronald F. Prate, Sr., age 70, of Brockport, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife, Carmela Prate in 2023 and his parents, George and Margaret Prate.

He is survived by his children, Ronald (Charmaine) Prate Jr., Michael (Amy) Prate, Jennifer Loturco, grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Sophia, Averleigh and Salvatore, sister, Lin (James) Cutter, brother, George Prate, several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Ronald was born March 27, 1955 in Rochester, NY the son of George J. and Margaret A. Snyder Prate Jr. Ron retired after 29 dedicated years from the Greece Police Department.

No prior calling hours. Ron's Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Daniel White officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
