Erwin M. Bugbee "Buggy", age 80, of Geneseo, died Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his residence in Geneseo. He was predeceased by his parents, DeForest "Pete" and Luella Bugbee and his brothers, Leo and Elwood Bugbee.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bugbee, children, Patty (Stanley) Doroski of Flanders, NY, Dan (Darcy) Bugbee of Avon, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and his canine companion Buddy.

Erwin was born August 9, 1944 in Lima, NY son of DeForest and Luella Watson Bugbee. He attended Geneseo Central School and learned what a day's work consisted of. At a young age Buggy was always working, wheather it be mowing grass or helping neighbors. He was employed by the Village of Geneseo Department of Public Works until his "retirement". Buggy never retired from owning and operating Bugbee & Sons Landscaping. He was also a Sanitary Engineer for many Banks and Businesses in Geneseo. Buggy also volunteered for the Geneseo Fire Department for many years. Erwin will never be forgotten in Geneseo and the surrounding area for his generosity and selflessness. He always went above and beyond the call of duty.

No prior calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10 AM at Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 AM at the Valley Oak Event Center, 4242 Lakeville Rd. in Geneseo.
