Lenis L. Adamson, age 61, of Groveland, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Lois Merrick, aunt, Breanda Westhoven and cousin, Heather Westhoven.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Adamson, children, Andrea Frisch, Joshua (Julie) Adamson, Laura Adamson all of Groveland, grandchildren, Haley, Wyatt and Roman Adamson, brother, Ron (Marsha) Merrick of Geneseo, uncle, Tom Westhoven of TN, several, nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.

Lenis was born July 23, 1963 in Dansville, NY the daughter of James C. and Lois J. Essler Merrick. She was a graduate of Geneseo Central School class of 1981. She earned her LPN and was employed at NOYES Memorial Hospital in Dansville and retired from Genesee Valley Family Medicine in Mt. Morris.

No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Lenis' Life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 1 – 4 PM at the Valley Oak Event Center, 4242 Lakeville Rd. in Geneseo with Rev. Beth Malone officiating.
