Nancy A. McDonald, age 73, of Geneseo, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 2021.

She is survived by her children, Matthew (Jennifer) McDonald, Christopher (Theresa) McDonald, Molly (Chad) Radesi all of Geneseo, grandchildren, Nathan, Samantha, Owen, Elizabeth, and Adelyn McDonald, Abigail Radesi, siblings, Mary Ann Vanderheyden-Humphrey of Leroy, Michael Vanderheyden of New York City, many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was born November 9, 1951 in Warsaw, NY daughter of James and Elizabeth Conroy Vanderheyden. She was a graduate of Warsaw Central School Class of 1969. Nancy and John were married on August 29th, 1970 and raised their family in Castile and Geneseo, NY.

Throughout her life she enjoyed crafts, gardening, being creative, and her beloved pets. Nancy helped to support her family in various ways throughout her lifetime. She worked at the Department of Social Services, was a realtor, library assistant, and worked at both Christiano hardware and Radioshack in Geneseo.

Nancy loved her family and enjoyed many aspects of life. She was a sports mom.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 1-3 PM at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main Street in Geneseo.
