Obituary of Susan C. Reid

Susan C. Reid, age 62, of Piffard, passed away peacefully Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Teresa House in Geneseo, NY. She was predeceased by her siblings, Melinda Jones, Tina Hamsher, Reed, Bryan, Christopher, Gary and Dennis Wolfanger.

She is survived by her siblings, Sheldon Wolfanger of Leicester, Duayne (John) Piniewski of Geneseo, Dale (Coreen) Wolfanger of Chili, Timothy (Amy) Wolfanger of Leicester, Kimberlee Johnson of York, Jay Wolfanger of Geneseo, her dear friend, Anna Macauley of Groveland, many nieces and nephews.

Susan was born September 24, 1962 in Batavia, NY the daughter of George Philip and Eleanor Cecilia Gent Wolfanger Jr. She was a graduate of York Central School class of 1980. Susie retired after 35 years from Livingston County Government on Murray Hill in Mt. Morris. She started as a Nurse's Aide and held various positions and retired from the Maintenance Department. Susan was an avid volunteer for numerous organizations including the Teresa House in Geneseo, the Caledonia Auxiliary, provided home health care; and most of all loved traveling to visit her beloved family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
