Eleanor Mae Landers, age 87, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, April 15, 2025 at the Village Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Le Roy, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, George Patrick Landers Sr., son in law, Al Hagan, sisters, Helen Fernays and Betty McClurg, brother, James Hoag.

She is survived by her children, Joyce Hagan of Wadsworth, George (Tracy) Landers Jr. of NC, Michael (Sue Cross) Landers of Geneseo, James (Jackie Collmer) Landers of Wadsworth, Barbara (Carl Doell) Landers of Attica, Pamela (Rat) Reinhardt of Elba, 3 grandchildren, Joseph, Zachary and Rachel, 4 great grandchildren, Jayci, D'Angelo, Paisley and Wayland, sister, Kaye Milliman of Lakeville, sister in law, Norma Hoag of Le Roy, brother in law, William (Jean) Landers Jr. of Mt. Morris, many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was born May 12, 1937 in Caledonia, NY the daughter of James and Rose Daniels Hoag. She was a graduate of Caledonia-Mumford High School, class of 1955. After High School Eleanor and George were soon married and started their family. It wasn't long after and Eleanor had a full-time job raising her and George's 6 children.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10 AM in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York with Father Michael Laver officiating.
