I had the pleasure of connecting with Renee through social media and meeting her to spend a long weekend along the Erie wine trail. It was such a fun weekend. Renee will always be my hero. Such a tough, fun, loving, strong individual. I’m glad to have known her. She will be missed by everyone she met. My sympathies to her family. Love and prayers.

Courtney & grandpa: Knowing my sister/friend Renee is no longer suffering should be some small comfort and that she is now with Mom and Lenny. She loved you dearly as does anyone that was ever with the two of you, dancing at concerts knew. She did her job as best she could for as long as she could and now you must also continue her job. So very sorry to learn of Renee's passing. She will be greatly missed. I went to school with Renee, worked with her and she was our union rep for many years. Courtney, I know all too well your pain in the loss of your mom, as our family just lost our mom last week to this horrid disease. My thoughts and prayers to Renee's family for strength and peace during this time and going forward.
