Obituary of Johnnie Beth Ruliffson

Johnnie Beth Drew Ruliffson, age 71, of Geneseo, died Monday, March 17, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray, in 2019.

She is survived by her children Kim Ruliffson of Geneseo, Jenn (Larry) Stroud of Bristow, VA, Eric Ruliffson of Geneseo, Kaytee (Aaron Orzolick) Ruliffson of Little Torch Key, FL, grandchildren, Austin, Jack and Carson Stroud, sisters, Margie Sutton of Rochester and Barbara Yates of Geneseo, father-in-Law, Allen Ruliffson of Scottsburg, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Johnnie Beth was born April 25, 1953 in Brockport NY, the daughter of John and Betty Miller Drew. She was a graduate of Geneseo High School and the Highland Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester.

She was known as “Nursie” in the community where she was loved by so many at Camp Stella Maris, Avon Central, and other schools within the region. Her passion in life was truly “Live, Laugh and Love,” and she was the epitome of this. Johnnie Beth left us on St. Patrick’s Day with her Irish spirit shining true.  We are positive she is enjoying her Bailey’s, so, let’s toast to Mom, Momma Bear, Jo, YaYa, JB, Sister, Aunt, Nursie, and Scooter.

Friends may call Friday, March 21, 2025 from 4-7 pm at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 22 at 10 AM.
