Mary Lou Lash, age 95, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. Mary Lou was a longtime resident of Melody Lane in Geneseo and later Morgan Estates. She was predeceased by her son, Roland Lash, grandson, John Sawyer and sister, Miriam Hull.

She is survived by her son Robert (Amy Rees) Lash of Enosburg, VT, granddaughter, Michelle (Silas Pollitt) Sawyer, several nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was born February 14, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Frederick H. and Mary Bertha Heath Hirchert. She was a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. Mary Lou was retired from the Business Office at Geneseo Central School. She was a former member of St. Timothy's Church in Geneseo and an avid card player, enjoying once a week Bridge Club in Geneseo.
