ZAVREL, SANDRA (née McCracken) has left us forever on February 19, 2025 at the age of 75. She was a daughter of the late Francis and Iva McCracken of York, NY. Loyal wife for over 52 years of Consul B. John Zavrel, loving and devoted mother of Wesley Zavrel, Christopher Zavrel (Daniella) and Dr. Thomas Zavrel (Jenna); and proud grandmother of Elisa Zavrel (Los Angeles) and Meadow Aria Zavrel.

She is also survived by brothers Roger McCracken (Alice), Alan McCracken (Kathryn), sister Wendy McCracken and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main Street in Geneseo, NY on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4 to 6:30 PM where a Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 PM. The burial will take place at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Fowlerville, NY, with the procession leaving Rector-Hicks Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10 AM.
